Perfectly · Imperfect

I've decided that I need to paint again.
I am constantly getting this urge to paint, but CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!
I've just gotta set aside time and do it-
I have class on certain days that I never miss, so I should set aside painting time on certain days that I will never miss.

Elaine has class on thursdays, so she goes to the studio wednesday nights.
I think I will join for two reasons
a. It's like having a running buddy. It makes it easier to go when someone is expecting you
b. part of the reason I don't paint is because I don't have space. If I use the studio I'm right back where it all began. Back Home. (yes AC Laska second floor... You are my home)

I had a race this weekend.
I wanted to break 5:00.
Mentally I could feel it and I was almost certain I would.
My coach and I worked off a 5:04 split plan. The idea here is that I would start with that.
After hitting a 2:32 at the half I was supposed to move a second quicker per lap if I could (which is 5 flat...)
I couldn't do it.
haha.

5:08...

But I'm convinced I didn't let up at all.
I'm convinced that I ran a 5:04 the whole way.
The trouble is when I hit the half mile (2:32 right on pace) I was already getting ready to lap people.
I hit my 1000 in 3:09 (right on) and then the lapping began.
I literally lapped at least 7 people.
I spent the next three laps in the 2nd lane.
The words of my wise coach chimed in my head: "make sure you hug the turns. Don't run an extra step if you don't have to. You can't afford an extra step"
Like I had a choice!

It was cool because the announcer at smith gives a full play by play.
He even figures out in his head what pace we are on so he can get the crowd excited.
The whole place was RIGHT IN MY FACE because they knew I was close to the 5 minute mark (no one has broken 5 on that track. 5:03 was the fastest time ever run there).
But because of this some of the girls I was lapping had "track etiquette" and got "out of my way"
Some did not...
So at one point I had to take a turn in Lane 3... because the girl directly "infront" of me moved to Lane 2 to let me by, but the girl in front of her stayed in Lane 1. Psshhh... THANKS!

Pretty annoying that I won by 29 seconds.
C'MON!
I'm quite certain I would have run a 5:04 with the inside lane.
Maybe a 5:03... but thats pushin it.
I think I maintained effort from the gun to the tape, but picking it up would have been hard.
My arms gave out so bad, but my legs and lungs were pretty powerful.

I must do core.
and weights.
Now.

Stay out of my Diary!!!

I've gone back and changed everything to friends only... and from this day forward anything of significance will only be viewed by my friends... and maybe someday when the drama dies down I will open back up my old entries... but doubtful.

PPS: I know that you don't believe in fairys or anything. So you probably wouldn't believe a fairly could trun you into a frog if you kept reading. but I'll bett you believe in hammers and I'll bet you believe that I have one, and I'll bet you believ that I know where your head is. Lets just say that fairys are NOT your biggest worry if you decide to keep on READING...

Needless to say, after an introduction like that...
I kept reading...
and it's a short entry about a new boy named david... and a girl ashley... and she likes him, and thinks he's "HOT, HOTTER THAN HOT"... then it says "turn for more"

So I turned and it says

HAHA! THERE WAS NO BOY NAMED DAVID! OR GIRL NAMED ASHLY! THIS WAS A PRANK! NOW STOP READING!...

There was no more to read.
